Alison has worked in outpatient orthopedics for over 10 years. She has extensive experience and expertise in treatment of the spine and extremities, orthopedics and sports medicine. She has advanced training in manual therapy in the Maitland Orthopedic Manual Therapy techniques. She is also skilled in taping and is certified to provide Sole Supports custom orthotics. Alison has extensive experience treating a wide variety of conditions including sports injuries, back and neck strains, headaches, repetitive strain injuries and surgeries. She also enjoys working with children and adolescents age 10 and up for scoliosis, sports injuries and other common orthopedic conditions. Although she treats a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions, Alison has a special interest in post-operative knee and shoulder rehabilitation.

Alison is also a certified Pilates instructor though Body Arts and Sciences International (BASI) and integrates Pilates in to many of her rehabilitation programs. In addition to her clinical work Alison is active in research and academics. She is a freelance writer and has been published on LiveSTRONG.com and other professional publications including CINAHL Rehabilitation Reference Center. She is also an adjunct professor at A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ where she teaches an online class for Doctor of Physical Therapy students.
