Meditation

Meditation has been shown to have many health benefits. Some of these include reducing pain, improving the immune system, improving mood, reducing blood pressure, reducing stress hormones and enhancing general health and well-being. Meditation can even increase neurotransmitters that enhance our cellular health and reduce the negative effects of stress on our bodies.

Anyone can meditate. If you have tried to meditate and think that you “can’t meditate because you can’t quiet your mind” don’t worry. There are many different techniques of meditation and Dr. Lori Rubenstein Fazzio will choose a method that is accessible and effective for you. Dr. Lori is a Level II iRest meditation teacher.
